About PAIR Sulawesi

The Partnership for Australia-Indonesia Research (PAIR) Sulawesi is supported by both governments through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), the Indonesian Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (MoHEST) and the Indonesian Education Endowment Fund (LPDP). It brings together researchers, policymakers, businesses, and civil society groups to improve the livelihoods of coastal communities in Sulawesi. PAIR Sulawesi is led by the Australia-Indonesia Centre (AIC) at Monash University and Universitas Hasanuddin.

About PAIR Second Call

The second call continues PAIR Sulawesi's focus on Climate Change and Coastal Communities. It builds on existing work and adds new questions identified by local stakeholders. The topic map highlights areas where further evidence is needed and reflects policy priorities raised by provincial and local governments, as well as community groups. Research should offer practical solutions that expand economic opportunities and strengthen climate resilience in coastal communities.
